This is an original, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1962 for Mutiny On the Bounty starring Marlon Brando, Trevor Howard, Richard Harris, Hugh Griffith and Richard Haydn. Lewis Milestone directed the adventure film based on the novel by Charles Nordhoff and James Norman Hall. Joseph Smith and Morgan Henninger are the artists for the poster.
The Style B poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in good to very good condition prior to restoration with a spot of discoloration on the top-right corner and tape stains in the corners from theatrical display. It was folded at the time of printing and had some wear and tiny paper loss along parts of the folds and cross-folds. The fold lines are much less noticeable after backing. The poster will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
