This is an original, linen-backed, Mexican lobby card movie poster from 1957 for I Was a Teenage Frankenstein starring Whit Bissell, Phyllis Coates, Robert Burton, Gary Conway, and Angela Austin. Herbert Strock directed the AIP monster horror film. The title in Spanish translates to "The Son of Frankenstein" even through the actual title is correctly shown in English just below.
The lobby card measures 12" x 15.75" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The card is in good condition with several pinholes from theatrical display and some scattered light smudges from prior handling. The lobby card was linen-backed without restoration.
Please look closely at the photo as it shows the exact poster you are buying. It is not cropped or a stock image.
This very rare and collectible mini-poster, printed in 1957 to promote the Mexican theatrical release of I Was a Teenage Frankenstein, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
