Film: Hook, Line, and Sinker (1969)
Year poster printed: 1969
Country: France
Size (inches): 45 1/2" x 62"
This is an original French Grande movie poster from 1969 for Hook, Line, and Sinker starring Jerry Lewis, Peter Lawford, and Anne Francis. George Marshall directed the 1960s comedy. The title in French is “Cramponne-Toi” Jerry which translates as “Hold on, Jerry!” The original art for this poster features great, comedic imagery of Jerry Lewis diving off a yacht with a rope tied to his legs. He is holding a bikini top in one hand and a fish in the other while a woman sunbathes above.
The one-panel poster was printed in France and measures 45 1/2" x 62". It is in very good to excellent condition with minimal, age-appropriate fold-wear.
Like nearly every French one panel poster, this poster was folded before being shipped to a French movie theater. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners and edges of the poster are magnets used to hold down the poster for photos.
This collectible poster, printed in 1969 to promote the theatrical release of Hook, Line & Sinker, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
