This is an original half-subway movie poster from 1985 for The Falcon and the Snowman starring Timothy Hutton, Sean Penn, Pat Hingle and Joyce Van Patten. John Schlesinger directed the spy drama based on the book by Robert Lindsey.
The poster was printed for use in New York City to promote the release of the film in that city. It measures 29.5” x 45.5” and is in good to very good condition with some edge and fold wear. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. There are tiny separations at the top and middle cross-folds. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
