This is an original, rolled, Finnish poster from the 1970s for a theatrical re-release of 2001: A Space Odyssey. The science fiction classic stars Gary Lockwood, Keir Dullea, William Sylvester, Daniel Richter, Leonard Rossiter, Robert Beatty and Douglas Rain. Stanley Kubrick directed the film. Bob McCall is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 16.25” x 24” and is in very good condition. It has never been folded. It has minor edge wear, a small crease in the lower-right corner and pinholes from theatrical display.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small, black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
